Happy Sunday!
It's been 3 weeks since the last time I've been on here .
I Haven't crochet all that much. My cat bite me on the hand and I had to wait til that healed before I can do any crocheting. I will tell you more about that in the Life update section,
I'm not gonna show the tiger blanket because I haven't worked on yet since the last time i've posted.
I wanted get the peppermint blanket worked because Christmas is right around the corner and i'm sure my aunt would want it to set out on her couch or bed for christmas.
So the progress on the peppermint blanket. I got all the bigger peppermints done.
Im now working on the smaller ones.
So the next time you see this project hopefully it will be done.
The pattern itself was confusion. So I found an helpful youtube video that's easy to go by. that helped a lot. the video it's here

The last time I talked to you I had to go for an neurologist appt.
So the update on that appt. They kept me on the meds that i was already on . Im taking Carbidopa-Levodopa 25-100mg 3 times a day. I'm stage 1 in my parkinson disease. so I have tremors on my left side. the meds is working great for that. just the side effects on itt thou for me is i get tired easily. I have sleepless nights and my appetite is poor sometimes and I hurt alot in my back. the doctor said everything was fine. My next appt is in April. I wrote an post on my parkinson disease journey so far here
That's about it.. I hope everyone has an good and safe week !

Oh goodness. Your Parkinson's experience is almost the same as my hubby's. Tired during the day but then can't sleep at night. Changing the timing of the meds helped for awhile but he's back to having problems going to sleep. Definitely not affecting his appetite - hahaha. Can't wait to see the finished peppermint blanket. It looks sooo cute.
ReplyDeleteOuch to the cat bite! I can see why crochet was off the menu for a while. That peppermint blanket is going to be so cute when completed. But the cutest thing is that clown! How much fun he must have had. Diseases do not know ages of people. They just happen. I hope your medicine will keep the progression of your Parkinson in check. Will the side effects of the meds ease over time as your body responds to them?
